The water side and docks

Alone the water site where old buildings, wherehouses, storage lockers and shipping yards are located. Could be a spot for criminal activity at night and held fish and sea food markets threw the day

Hayden was on patrol at the docks, for some reason there was something odd going down there that Voltaire wished them to check out. There was some part of Hayden that felt like he just wanted him out the way for some reason.
Hayden was armed with two hand pistols and a shotgun, he also had a body armor chest plate on over combat jacket and combat pants with padded bits in them as he looked decked out for a fight. luckily they where way from the normal busy locations so being heavily armed wasn't much of a problem as no one seemed to be around.

"Is anything going to happen?" Garnet said in a slightly board voice as she sat on some crates that where next to where Hayden was standing. It was her turn to accompany him as mostly everyone else had took turns on watching the docks with him but they all where busy today for some reason. Garnet would rather be spending this time next to Alex on a mission but she was stuck with Hayden at the moment but that didn't stop her mind from wondering. Garnet blushed as she thought about Alex's tight hot body, he had been training shirtless today, she couldn't really take in his splendor then as they where to busy playing capture the flag and he was in the opposing team but she thought seen as she had some free time she could fanatics. Garnet wasn't carrying any weapons not that she really needed to, and she was dressed in a plain black hoody dark blue jeans and white an blue sneaker.

"What are you thinking about... you are blushing" Hayden said in a tone that said I asked but I really don't want to know the answer to that. Hayden then moved his hand to a radio concert to his top and pressed the button "all clear... over" he said to whom ever was on the other side as it was a job that was rotated as well but he always seemed to be at the docks. They had to report in on the hour so they could mention anything suspicious

Garth eyes soften as he saw the regret playing across the strong warriors face as he could see Kern was feeling sorry for harming Peter earlier. He still felt bad for Peter since the kid was a part of his team but he had a heart and know forgiveness, he was willing to give Kern a change to make it up to them but it was up Peter to offer the man forgiveness that wasn’t something he could give in place of the boy. He happy to see everyone on broad as he watched them closers the doors as he heads off towards the location where the target had been roughly been spotted over the last two weeks. He gave Kern a nod if the guy was looking his way as he was happy that the strongest in the group would look out for everyone if relieved a bit of stress off of his shoulders. He hope if something ever happened to him Kern would step up and protect his charges from harm. He was somewhat surprised the guy was feeling so much though as he didn’t seem the feely and sharing type most days. He glanced to Peter as he gave him a smile, “It’s alright lad, were a team, we can help you through it.” He said trying to tell Peter he would watched out for him no matter what.

Stone glared at Kern as he suggested they need his help to get through this, “Just stay out of my way ok!” he barked back at him looking pretty moody. He looked out the window as he watched the van heading down the road and heading over to the docks as they park in a non-lighted area giving them some cover to hide in, “It can’t be all that hard to bring a kid in honesty,” he swung the doors open as he stepped out of the van getting a good look over the surroundings.

Zeke shock his head at how childish Stone could be sometime as he smiled towards Kern then existed the van. He stood in the Shadow besides Stone as he also looked around and then he saw Garth walking towards him, “Brewing a plan in there?” he said to the elderly guy but had also addressed that to Henry upon the guy’s arrival as that guy seemed clued in for this little mission and he was happy to follow their lead.

Stone sneaked off into the shadow as they were all having their girl chit chat. He slinked along the shadows doing his best not to be seen as he then spotted Hayden and some girl on which they didn’t have a picture of. He watched closely as they seemed to be looking for something at the docks. He then waited in till the girl was detracted and then he lightly stepped over there grabbing Hayden from behind with one hand over the boy’s mouth as he dragged him behind some crates.
A voice seemed to try to come through on the commutation ear piece to Hayden but it was all muffled and broken up as if Voltaire had set him up to fail and have no back up. Though he wouldn’t know that.

Kern looked a little bit agitated at Stone's reaction to what he said as he stormed off like a little kid "he will get someone killed" Kern added as he thought that he needed to explain at that moment why it was that he was angry, not that things didn't go his way just that Stones carelessness would get himself or another of the team killed. He let out a sigh as he then moved to get out of the vain as he watched the others as they walked off.

Henry got out of the vain and followed after the others as he then lay eyes on who they where facing "well that is fantastic" Henry said in a unhappy tone of voice as he then looked at Garth and Zeke as he placed his hand on his head "we had to get one of the two dangerous ones" Henry said softly as he then continued "we can't to anger Hayden to keep his aim off balance but... we don't want to anger her, we would need to keep her busy "Henry said as he pointed to Garnet as he then turned to Zeke as if to ask if he could do that if she got involved. As he then turned to notice that Kern and Peter where not there.

Peter was planning to stay with the vain as he really didn't wish to do anything of the fighting side of thing as he most probably wouldn't be good at that.

Kern on the other hand had other ideas as he then moved over to stand next to Peter as he then opened the door and lent over him undoing his seat belt as he then pulled him out rather gently and then moved to then walk up to the others as he pulled him along as he got to where the others where standing he let go on Peter. He could see the boy was frightened of him and then moved to look over to Garnet "I can't protect you if your not with us" Kern said softly, he actually had seen some of her work before, mostly her brake downs so he wanted them all in the same area so he could keep track of them.

Hayden was completely shocked as he was pulled into the shadows he did see someone out of corner of his eyes so reached for one of his pistols with his super human reflexes he grabbed it with his left hand, he wouldn't be able to hit Stone anywhere other then his foot as he aimed so he would shoot off the little toe on Stones left foot and pulled the trigger as he did he was giving away where he was to Garnet as well as he bit Stones hand hard as he then elbowed Stone in the groan as he then pushed himself away. He went crashing threw the boxes and landed laying on his stomach next to Garnet

Garnet jumped a little as the gunfire as she looked around and then stood to her feet as she then heard something coming threw the box she was sitting on before, she stepped to the side as she looked down at Hayden as she then turned to head to look at Stone. She hadn't seen what had happened before but she couldn't guess "what's your deal!... are you with the green watchers? The red claw?... or one of the other groups stupid enough to attack us" Garnet didn't take her eyes off Stone as she then felt Hayden get to his feet as he placed stepped a little in front of her and placed his arm out asking her to keep out of this, as she seemed to be getting a little aggressive at the thought that Stone was one of them barsteds.

Garth run his fingers though his hair as he was worried and cross at stone all at the sometime as he nodded to Kerns comment, “Yes, he is truly reckless.” He said with a sigh as he hopes nothing went wrong and they all made it out of this alive. He felt bad for Peter as the boy really seemed afraid of Kern and to be honest he had good reason.

Zeke held his hand to his forehead as he grinned, “Yes sir!” he said a little jokingly but was still considering Henry leadership as good for this mission to work. He agreed with him and then dashed off to get the girl away from the target as best he could. He watches as she was now alone as he quietly approached her, “Hey you?” he shouted out drawing her attention towards him, “What you doing here?” he asked as he pretend he worked down at the docks and was questioning why she was hanging around the way she was all shady like, “Are you lost?” he asked her as he didn’t want to just scare her off as he wanted to keep her attention for as long as he could. He was just in his normal clothes for this though he had his green watcher outfit on underneath so he could pull the mask over his head at any time to hide himself.

Stone squealed out in the pain as the bullet shot though his shoe and took clean off his little toe. Then he went flying into the crate with a right groan as he laid there for a second getting his bearings. He started up at her though his green watcher mask she could clearly tell from his outfit which one he was. He got to his feet hastily trying to ignore the pain in his foot as he ignored the foolish girl as he charged towards Stone, there was a high chance of getting himself killed here.

Garnet turned to look at Zeke as he walked over to her as if he was a worker at the docks, but she could pick that he most likely wasn't as he was younger then she was, but she humored his attempts to keep her attention on him as she looked him over, she had been on plenty of missions with everyone from her family even the more intense ones that Ivory took as she was the most experienced out of all the Blackwood children on that matter. Garnet noticed his clothing and composure compared to Stones, this kid didn't want to fight as bad as the other one seemed to want to "what do you want? What are you after?" It was clear that she understood that Zeke wasn't what he was pretending to be but because he wasn't being aggressive towards her she wasn't being aggressive back to him and seemed capable of holding a calm conversation with him.

Hayden moved to point his gun at Stone as he changed at him, it seemed to take him almost no time to aim before he shot, but the built came out at Stone, hitting him and making him fall back. Hayden then stepped to the side as Stones lifeless body dropped and slit to a stop on the ground as he then moved his attention over to Zeke and pointed the gun at him and shot.

If Garnet hadn't noticed Hayden's intent to kill beforehand she wouldn't have had enough time to create a magical barrier in front of Zeke to protect him from the built that Hayden has just shot at him, the built hit the magical dark blue barrier and then fell to the ground as it did Garnet looked at Hayden "what the hell? He wasn't as much as a threat at that one was" Garnet seemed to be mad at Hayden for trying to kill him.

Kern tuned his head as he looked toward where the first gunshot went off and seen Stone drop to the ground and then noticed that Hayden had then moved his gun to point at Zeke he went to move out of reaction to want to save the boy as he then seen the magical barrier that Garnet had put up to save him as he felt a little grateful about it, he then turned to look at Peter as he seen the look of horror on his face and moved his hand to cover Peters mouth to muffle the sound that was going to come out of his mouth as it would draw the attention of Hayden over to them and Kern actually wanted to keep everyone he could alive, there was nothing much any of them could have possibly done to save Stone from his own stupidity as he changed in all alone without any backup. Kern moved to gently move Peter so he was quoting down as he then placed his hand over his own mouth to tell Peter to be quiet, he could tell that Peter would be more of a hinderance then help as he clearly hadn't done anything like this before so he most probably wouldn't get in the way even if he didn't mean to. Kern slowly removed his hand from Peter as he gave him a nod then turned to Henry as he moved his hand to point to Hayden then tuned to Garth and pointed to Garnet as to asked him to help subdue her, maybe use the power that Maya had given him if he needed to.

Peter looked terrified as he looked towards Hayden but Kern placed his hand over his mouth before he could scream or make any sound that would draw attention to them as he then moved with Kern as he quoted down and looked at Kern he still frightened the hell out of him as he was so unpredictable with his behavior but he could see something in the guys eyes that told him this time he wasn't going to hurt him, Peter was still shaking as he then moved his own hand over his mouth as he couldn't garantee that he wouldn't make a noise.

Henry watched as Kern took charge as he glanced over at Stones dead body then to Peter and Garth. Kern seemed to be a veteran when it came to fighting on the battle field, he could see he wasn't trying to take full control as he was making more of suggestions to how they should handle this situation. Henry was confident on this way being good as after Zeke and Garth subdued Garnet they may be able to use her as leverage against Hayden. Henry moved to out of the shadows as he did Kern did so there was two targets for Hayden to shoot at. Henry way a Little relieved as Hayden shot at Kern and hit his armor plating that took the built surprisingly well, as he closed in on Hayden he rammed him with his shoulder knocking him back and the pistol out of his hand.

Zeke seemed puzzled with her come back as she clearly was experienced and saw right though his reuse. He rubbed the back of his head as he quickly thought of what to tell her, “Just doing the rounds like you I suppose,” As he was suggesting to being on a mission for some higher up person like she was, “If you just looked the other way and portend I wasn’t here. I guess will both save a lot of paper work and explaining to are bosses later on.” He said with a cheeky smile as she seemed alright and didn’t want to fight him so he was going to remain clam as well as long as she didn’t try anything with him or anyone from his group that one as they still had a mission to complete at the end of the day.

Stone felt the bolt go straight throw him as the last moment of his life seemed to drag out as everything seemed to slow down around him. Then the bolt existed his body as he fell back onto the ground in a pool of his own blood. His last site was Hayden looking down at him as his version went blurry and he took his last breath.

Zeke mouth hanged open in shock as he saw Stone lifeless body drop to the ground just meters away from him. He didn’t really like the guy but he was still… well maybe human, he did have a very icy heart. His eyes went wide as he glanced up to see a bolt coming towards him it was to let to move out of the way as he braced himself for the blow. He cringed, though then paused as seconds past and he wasn’t bleeding on the floor like Stone. He had his hands up in front of his face as he peard though his figures to see some sort magical wall around him, “What the...?” he half expected to see Dianna pop out of somewhere using her magical skills. Whatever it was he was happy to be alive.

Garth heard the gun shots as he feared the worse for them as he looked over to where it was all going down. He was in shock as he saw Stone go down and he wasn’t shore if the guy was gone or not, but he could see a pool of blood forming around him. Even though the guy had been a complete jerk to them all it was still anything he would wish on the guy and his family that would be missing him. He watched as he saw Kern step into action covering Peter’s mouth so their location would be give away as he looked down at the veil in his pocket, “But they girl seemed to save Zeke?” he said with a puzzled response he was ok with Kern idea but hope it didn’t put them in more danger then they already were, “Alright I’ll use it.” He agreed with Kern as he seemed to take protective role of the group and he admired that about him. He watches as they went into battle as he followed behind them with haste and looked to the girl he felt a little bad using the veil on her but it had to be done. He throws it at her as he waited for it to take effect and he take a position beside Zeke shielding him.
