Recruits mini base

Kern had been waiting in the base as he cleaned the blood off of his swords, he was the only one there as every one else had gone out to do a part of there group mission and he had come back before every one else, he was completely coved in blood from head to toe.
He had grabbed a few people on his way back as he was board and has played with them wile the rest here away, he had strung them up and put some on pikes as he flayed them with his blades and then chopped some of them up and cut them in half. Intestines and other internal organs had been pinned to the walls and doors with a number of makings painted in the victims blood.
There was a total of ten people corpses and blood all over the base in different rooms and areas of the make shift base.
One of the people he has only just started to flay, he had started on the guys arm and hand but then stopped for some reason, he was pinned up the wall with metal pipes that Kern had shoved threw his body to keep him up there and some how he was still alive.
If anyone looked over savalance footage they would see him dragging them in one by one and doing horrible things to them with creepy almost phycodic grin on his face as they called out in pain and died in agony

Freya had been watching from a higher balcony as Kern hadn’t noticed her. She wasn’t right there at the begin but her team had return and was chatting outside the mini base. The members of her team where herself of course, Stone their ruthless leader, David the yes man, and Astrid the cry baby scared cat that didn’t fit well with their team image. She been admiring his handy work for a while though she did wonder who these people wear that Kern had tortured to death, beside one people that still seemed to be breathing.

Stone walked through the mini base as he smelt the rank smell which set his noises on fire, “What is that?” he said feeling sick to his stomach.

“Aahhh!” Astrid screamed out in horror as she saw it first the nightmare and in the next second she was throwing up on the floor as it was such a site and smell smelt so bad.

David laughed at both of them but the smell was getting to him to.

Kern moved his eyes up from his swords as he head the other started to make some commotion about his art. Kern moved to stand to his feet as he stood there with his swords in hand as he focused on Astrid as she screamed and threw up as he then formed a creepy grin as he then lifted up one of his blades up as he then started to walk towards them with a evil gleam in his eyes.
Kern had almost lost his mind and didn't see them as his team anymore, he moved into more of a run as he got closer to them. As he lifted up he both his blades up as he came at them, he went for Stone first as he then slashed down, Stone would have had just enough time to move back, possibly getting a shallow slash on his chest.

Maya had been following a familiar smell that had lead her to this building, Maya was standing out the mini base with some cloths she has taken off a line so they where to big for her and she had already gotten them covered in dirt and mud, Maya also managed to get away with out having a bath. Maya was walking around trying to work out how to get inside and then wondered if the one she was tracking was okay as she then heard yelling and screaming coming from inside as well as the strong smell of blood

Stone jumped back as fast as he could but the blade still cut his shoulder as he groaned in pain looking pretty pissed off with this ruthless idiot, “Hey the trails are over buddy,” he couldn’t believe this guy, “Go stick your sword where the sun doesn’t shine,” he was referring to the guy sticking the sword up his own butt whole. He held his hand to his shoulder putting a bit of pressing on it.

Freya leapt down from the balcony laying on her feet and one hand to balance herself as she admitted Kern handy work up close, it was really a work of art. She smiled as she looked towards Kern, “It’s a true site of beauty indeed,” She said to him as she laughed a little at what had happened Stone. She was starting to think Kern should be there leader instead of the stuck up meat head Stone.

“Why?!” Astrid shouted out as she was crying, “I just want a bit of money to pay back my loans!” She sat on the floor subbing to herself as she couldn’t wrap herself around what was happening to her, this was starting to make her crazy, she would probably leave here with a metal problem for shore.

“Yeah it’s totally great man,” David said buttering Kern up, he was Stone yes man but he was open to staying breathing and was happy to agree with the insane murder as well. He held his hands up as if saying he had no beef with the psycho, “So guys group hug now,” he said jokingly, he was at least laughing to himself if no one else found it funny, “Should we try to catch this Kathleen girl, are target? No reason we can’t get a head start on the rest of the lazy recruits.” He said, as he wanted a shining report card from their employer.

Kern had a look of a wild animal in his eyes as he looked at Stone, as his grin became even bigger and creepier as he said to stick it where the sun doesn't shine "that's a exilent idea" Kern said as he looked at him with a crazed look and then tilted his head "there is no sun in people's bodies... well until I rip them open that is" Kern said as he then moved his swords to his side.
Astrid's crying was starting to get on his nurves as he then turned his attention from Stone standing in front of him to Astrid sitting on the floor as he then started to walk to her quickly over to her and lifted his a blade up as he was going to slash her in half.

Maya has been looking for a way in to the base when she had then found a door that wasn't locked, she quietly pushed it open as she walked on and closed it behind her. She crept into the base as she did she spotted the body parts and other bits of the corpses all over the places 'Kern must be here..' she thought as she recognised his handy work. As she got further in she could hear people, her gray eyes then seen Kern with a group of people, he was talking to a bid guy that looked annoyed, there was a woman that smelt a lot like Kern there too, maybe he had found a mate? A guy with his hands up and a girl crying on the floor, that Kern then turned his attention to Astrid, Maya could see the look in his eyes, he was so close to losing it all and just become a complete mess. Maya broke into a ran as she could see where this was going, and rushed past David, Maya made it to Kern in time to save Astrid, moving her hand out she grabbed ducked down, she grabbed the wrist that was holding the sword stopping it before it hit the crying girl as she then moved her shoulder into his gut then straitened her legs and Kern went over her and landed on his back on the other side with one less sword as Maya had disarmed him. It would have happened so quick people may have needed to take a few seconds to realise that this homeless kid just dropped and partly disarmed Kern.

“No.. no… no!” Astrid screamed in horror as she tried to escape him, “Please I beg you, …please… don’t hurt me.” She was sobbing even more now and shaking. She was in shock but so relieved as Maya had come to her recuse. She glanced up at the homeless looking girl that didn’t look all that strong, “Thank… thank,” She said to the stranger as she remained on the floor.

Freya glared at the girl for a moment to believing what she’d just seen happening to Kern of all people. She walked up to the girl staring her down, “Who are you? How dare you enter here.” She seemed mad to the fact the girl had just well walked on in here for no good reason and was now beating on Kern, which was a big shock. She walked over to Kern as she looked down at him, “Are you going to let a girl beat you up like that?” She asked him, as she figured he was more interested in his pride then getting warm fuzzy are you alright cuddles from her.

“Whoa did that just happen?” David blinked a couple of time as if he was seeing things but no the young girl was still there as clear as day, “Nice moves,” he said to her as he looked over to the recovering Kern wondering if he was going to rip her head off for that little move. He could probably sell tickets to that sort of death match.

Stone laughed as he saw Kern fly through the air as he thought the guy need to be knocked down a few levels and get his head out of the clouds for shore. He walked over to Maya and looked her over, “What drain did you curl out of?” he was talking about her rugs, messy hair and the smell, he was only human he couldn’t smell her sent of flowers.

Kern grunted as he his the floor then turned his head to look at the girl that has put him down there as he then glanced to Freya "it will be the last thing she ever dose" Kern said as he then got to his feet and glared at Maya, as he then lunged at her.

Maya moved her eyes to look down at Astrid as she thanked her, she nodded as she couldn't really reply to her at all. Maya then noticed Stone walking over to her and mentioned something to her about where she crawled out of but her attention was pulled back to Kern as he lunged at her, Maya moved her hand that didn't have the sword to quickly push or know anyone that could be hit by Kerns sword as he swung it like a made man then blocked with the sword, Maya seen the look on his eyes as he was crazed.

Kern pushed back on the girl as she blocked his attack and then grinned a most dangerous creepy grin as he realised that this one was trying to protect the people around them. He then turned as he swung a slash not really looking at where it was as he would hit someone as they where close.

Maya moved as fast as she could to grab Stone and push him back saving him from a large gash over his chest and then moved to duck under Kerns arm and come up on the other side to block the sword from hitting Astrid again and even Freya as Kern didn't seem to care. Maya pushed him back away from them as he was going to try and use them more now.

Kern looked at the maya then moved his eyes to look over at David unprotected as a evil gleam came into his eyes as he took off for him.

Maya wasn't far behind Kern knowing what he can be like all crazed as she couldn't make it to David in time to block it, so quickly she threw two metal balls concert together with some think wire, it would have wrapped around Davids feet and knocked him over so as Kern slashed as him he would fall back and not get hit.

Kern seemed even more in angered by this as he turned to look Maya in the eyes as he then charged at her with the look for blood in his eyes as he was really going to try and kill her.

Maya had no choice now she had to take him down the only was she could, Maya moved her hand that didn't have the sword into her pocked at she grabbed a hand full of yellow powder as she flicked it in his face, as she did his seemed to lose control over his body he dropped the swords as feel to the ground face first.
Maya moved to Kern and flipped him over so he was facing away from the ground as he wasn't able to move himself at all as the powder had paralized him. It really wasn't the powder alone as that was just a way for the paralizing agent to get into the body in safe amounts that wouldn't kill anyone.

David cheered from the sidelines at the two of them going at it as it was wildly entertaining, “My bets of on Kern, as that girl looks like she going for the defender move and not the kill.” He said to anyone listening, “Kern will go for the kill!” he said as he waved his arms cheering, he wasn’t fused who won it was just a great show. His face went pale as Kern locked his crazed eyes with him as if he was his prey, “Geez don’t like cheering man?” he said in his defense as suddenly he felt something wrapping around his feet and he stumbled to the ground with a thud. He glanced up to see Kern sword stabbing where he’d once been as she happened scrambled back still staying low as he then changed his cheering, “Go stranger!” As he cheered for his rescue instead.

Stone couldn’t believe his eyes as this skin and bones under feed light weight was owing Kern like he was nothing, “Who are you?” he was shore it was a boy or a girl under though smelly ripped up robes, he assumes a strong lad.

Astrid scrambled over to where David was off to the sidelines out of fear of getting court in the middle of the cross fight in all this chaos.

Freya looked annoyed as she moved to stand between the robbed street rat and Kern the heartless killer, “You have to go through me first missy!!” She was defending Kern as best she could but Maya could over power her but she would get a stab in or two first as she was wielding daggers.

Maya looked at Stone was he asked her who she was, Maya didn't know if he knew sign but there was no other way as she didn't have a pen and paper to communicate with them. Maya started to sign 'Maya... how do you know Kern?' She realised that he probably didn't know what he was saying to him as she then moved her eyes to look at Freya as she then moved back from Kern as she didn't want to fight her as she was trying to protect them but Maya needed to get to Kern she moved to tried to get to Kern but was stopped by Freya, Freya would have got a stab or two on Maya before she managed to grab Freya and disarmed her. Freya would had felt like the dagger hit something hard nothing like if it had hit normal soft flesh it didn't seem to slow Maya down ether, nor was there any blood on the dagger

Kern watched what was going as he could still move his eyes and talk as well, he then noticed the person that took him down stated to sign, he then looked at Freya "stand down" he said as he looked at her, she was protecting him, not that he could be killed and he really didn't think that this one would kill him as he recognised who it was "that's my kid" Kern said as he then slowly moved his body to sit up as it didn't last long for him as he wasn't the same as a normal human. It may have been unclear to them wether or not this street rat was his birth child or not but was clear was Kern knew this kid.
"I'm surprised they didn't smell you coming" Kern said with a chuckle as he still could sit up or move to much as it still wasn't completely worn off.

Maya let go of Freya as she took Kern saying stand down as a order to both of them. Maya then looked at Kern as he joked about her smell as she then lifted her sleeves and smelt herself it did look a little cute as she then walked over to Kern and kicked him in the chest gently pushing him back down to the ground with her bear foot as she did Kern laughed a little. It was clear that there was something between them, maybe father child, and Kern may have a soft spot for this kid, it would also be clear that she could take care of herself.
Maya moved to Kern as he then handed her his phone, Maya opened it as she then started to type, she then moved to show the phone to Freya 'are you Kern's mate?' Maya was asking if Freya and Kern where together in some kind of a relationship as she could pick up that Freya cared for Kern as she wanted to protect him, it was up to Freya what she wanted to say.

Stone frowned as she was signing to him as he realized she was like Kevin a mute, “Never mind,” he held his hand up to her to stop as he didn’t have the patients for that or know anything of what she was even saying anyway.

Freya got in a few stab or so she thought but her blade meets with such resistant as it seemed like the girl was wearing amour under though rugs of hers. She paused as Kern ordered them both the halt their actions, “As you wish,” She said to him as he clearly didn’t need her protection. She turned to face him with a little shock on her face, “Your child?” She asked not believing, “You don’t seem like the fatherly type.” She pointed out and then looked back to Maya looking her over as she then glanced at the message on the phone, “Mate that an interesting choose of words, I don’t know.” She was being honest as she liked Kern and they had sex but she had a feeling that he didn’t feel the same towards him. She wasn’t going to force him if he wasn’t into that but she till liked being around him. Maybe he would at least consider her his friend.

“She’s your kid?” Astrid was in shocked to as Kern didn’t seem a like he would have made anyone a good father figure at all, “You’re a terrible father, she doesn’t have any good clothes to wear, she looks under feed and well…” She didn’t want to say the girl smelled but she did and really need some loving care. She was being a little braver as Maya had defended her early.

Voltaire had been lingering in the shadows listening in as he wonders if he could use this girl to get Kern to do his bidding. He clapped his hands as he walked in the light, “I see we have a new recruit.” He said with a blank face that doesn’t give away if he was happy or not.

“Whoa stealth master,” David was impressed at the recruit trainer appeared.

Kern looked at Freya and Astrid as they both seemed shocked that he would have even fathered a child and to find out that this girl was his
"She is mine what of it" Kern said a little annoyed as he could see where Freya was coming from as he didn't seem like the nurturing type as he had little to know feeling even if he could feel something by being around Maya, as he heard Freya answer Maya about her mate question he then piped up "Yes" Kern seemed to be more forward towards Maya then he ever was to anyone else, as he straight out told her and anyone else listening that he had claimed Freya as his own. Kern then slowly got to his feet, he was still a little groggy from the powder that Maya had flicked at his face "poison... can you do something about this" Kern was stating her name to be Poison and asking her to give him the antidote to then nerve powder.

Maya's grey eyes looked over Freya as she then smiled a little as she then started to type in the phone 'what dose that mean' Maya hand only a small chance to show Freya and her hand was grabbed by Kern as he glanced over the message that was being shown, Maya had no clue as that thing had never come up and Kern had never explained what sex even was to her.
Maya pulled a face as Kern asked her to give him he antidote, she moved to pull out a small vial that as with a dropped in the screwed onto it as a lid she had made it into a kind of necklace with string that she hand found. Maya unscrew the dropped lid and then walked over to Kern as she put one small drop into his mouth and then put it away from where she had gotten it.
People may have been very interested in what ever it was that she used to take Kern down as it worked really quickly with only a small amount and also the small amount of antidote needed meant what ever it was, was very potent.

Kern was able to move a lot easier as he has gotten the antidote, Kern then moved to pick up his blades as put then on there shefs the turned to Astrid as she told him he was a bad father "I don't kneed to baby her... she can look after her self" Kern said defensively as he then glared as her looking like he wanted to tare her in half as he then moved his gaze to Maya again to look her over, she was looking like she needed to eat more but he was shore she would be able to handle that her self.
Kern turned to look at Voltaire as he seemed to come out of the shadows after letting this go on for long enough "No!" Kern said as he walked over to Voltaire as he then eyes him off "she stays out of this" Kern was not as all happy to have Maya competing with them all though she was clearly well tought as fighting and even could subdue him when he gets out of hand even in her mulnurished condition " you even try and I'll rip your spine out threw your mouth" it wasn't a empty threat as he had the strength to do something like that as was crazy enough to as well.

Maya moved from where she was to go over to Astrid as she seemed like she was checking on her to see if she was okay, her hand touched Astrid as she lifted her top up as not all the way just a little as, but as she touched her Astrid would have felt that her hands where freeze cold, so was the rest of Maya, she really just needed a good warm shower some fresh clean cloths and a good meal to start off with
Maya's eyes moved to Kern as he talked at this other man, Maya had smelt him before but didn't think him a threat as he didn't make a move till then, she looked very confused about what they where talking about but seemed too be keeping a eye on Kerns mood and behaviour.

No one else in the room would have been more shocked then Freya as Kern had said yes to being her mate. Her mouth was hanging open in shock she never thought he would every admit to something like that. She glanced to the floor as she smiling to herself as she was happy he had some feeling for her in return. She remained silent for the moment as she listened to everyone and what was going on.

“I don’t doubt it,” Voltaire said fearlessly, “That’s what I like about you, you get the job done and finish it completely.” He smiled a little creepy towards Kern, who know Kern was dangerous but they were the best people to have on the end of his puppet strings. He looked to Maya and then back to Kern, “I can watch over her for a price,” he said a bit softer as he was just speaking to Kern now and didn’t need people butting in where they weren’t wanted, “If you work for me, and have some sense of loyalty to me, I can see that a troubling issue for you but can be worked on. I can see that your daughter has the care she needs.” He wages the deal to Kern as he lent on his cane, he didn’t need a cane but it was more of a front.

Astrid frowned a bit as the girl lifted her top slightly feeling a little off about that and then felt her ice cold touch, “You’re freezing,” She shivered herself as the girl touched, “Would you like a blanket?” She didn’t want over step her mark since this was Kern’s little girl and he would most likely hurt her a lot if something went wrong.

David laughed as he heard Kern say yes to being Freya’s mate. It was just so funny to see a lethal guy like him having a partner, “Do I hear wedding bells?” he said with a cheeky grin towards Kern.

Stone crossed his arms as he stood there, “Are we going to start are mission or not?” he was getting very broad with this day of are life’s TV special going before him.

Kern looked at Voltaire as he kept his composure and then seemed to then looked his over as he moved to take his hand off of his sword, his fingers had started to creep to them as he had gotten a little annoying with him even suggesting that Maya be dragged into this, Voltaire had no fear in that situation letting Kern know he himself was quite dangerous as he praised him for his effectiveness in certain situations.
"If I do this, you have to honour your word..." Kern said as he looked the man in the eyes, he realised what Voltaire was doing but wasn't going to back out from a deal that would benefit Maya's well being "as I'll be coming to tare you and your people down if anything was to happen to her" Kern felt he could give Voltaire some level of trust as he knew that Kern was being truthful on what he would do, and nothing Voltaire had would stop him ether as he would burn the world to get to him. Voltaire had no clue yet that Kern was incapable of dying "deal" Kern said as he then turned to look at Maya.

Maya moved her hands away from Astrid as she said they where freezing, Maya quickly with drew her hands from Astrid as she didn't want to make her uncomfortable at all, she was a little cold now that she had pointed it out to her, Maya nodded yes as she looked at Astrid Maya's eyes then darted over to Kern and Voltaire as they discussed her wellbeing and the arrangement of him keeping a eye out on her, she herd it all, and was a little inshore what that meant, Maya eyed Voltaire as she could tell he was shifty and sly 'he smells strongly of blood' Maya sighed to Kern as he looked over at her.
Mays then looked confused at David as he said something about bells and the meaning had gone right over her head.

"She noticed the think smell of blood on you" Kern said as he turned to Voltaire telling him sort of what Maya has said to him and that she knew he wasn't what he was playing to be to the others, Kern looked him in the eyes "Maya's not gullible like most your use to.." Kern gave over her true name to him as if Voltaire was ment to look out for her he said at least know her name, Kern then said something that came to mind and would maybe seem odd "No medicals or blood tastes are to be done on her" Kern most probably should have kept his mouth shut on that as it was most likely going to make Voltaire curious and want to do them, and Kern had already agreed to the deal before mentioning that so Voltaire could lie as Kern didn't put them down as guid lines before hand.

Voltaire was happy to see he’d come around to seeing it his way after all, “Understood,” he agreed to Kern terms. He glanced back to the bodies, “Do you think you could depose of them.” He placed his first order upon Kern letting him know how this was going to go and then moved over to Maya as a sign of good faith as he placed a comforting hand to rest on her shoulder, “Come with me child.” He said to her sounding caringly, “I’ll show you to a nice warm shower, some new clothes and something warm to eat.” He looked over to Kern, “Right,” he just added not really saying it he would stick to then guidelines or not about doctor visits. It just interested him more as to why Kern would need to add though little details.

David walked off as in no way did he want to help Kern clear up his little mess that was splattered everywhere. He wonders off heading to their team room as he laid down on his bed resting.

Stone followed after David as it was clear no one was going to take the mission seriously right now which made if cross as he went into his team room glancing at David resting his eyes. He sat on his bed and started reading a novel.

Freya lingered as she was interest in this new girl that meant so much to Kern as she moved to stand beside him, “Did you just sell your soul for the highest bidder?” She said as she looked at his mess and the still breathing guy, “Want a hand cleaning up?” She asks him, but she wasn’t shore if he’d even want or need her help.

Astrid went to the lounge area to sit as she didn’t want to be in her room with David and Stone there as they’d probably do bad thing to her.

Kern took that order as then moved to look around, it pretty much wasn't a problem for him, he could get a lot done as he had no need for sleeping or eating. Kern just gave a nod to Voltaire as to let him know that he would get it done.
Kern eyes glanced to Stone and David as they walked off, Kern would remember that, Astrid on the other hand he didn't expect to help as she would most likely make more mess as she most likely would throw up a lot, his eye glanced as he looked at Voltaire with Maya watching the man closely.
Kern moved his eyes to look back to Freya as she walked over to him "my soul as you say, was gone years ago" Kern started to her as he then looked up at the guy pinned to the wall still breathing but out cold "if you wish it" he didn't need her help but he wasn't saying no to her ether so it was really up to her. Kern mad his way over to the one still alive as he then reach his hand to the guy and then forced it threw his chest to his heart and crushed it in his hand.
The guy let out a loud horrible scream as Kern's hand entered his chest but stopped almost suddenly as Kern crushed the little life he had left in his hand.

Maya moved her eyes to follow Voltaire as he moved over to her and placed his and on her shoulder, as comforting as he was acting Maya didn't trust him, he had given her no reason to yet so she was clearly weary of him, she didn't flinch or moved away but Voltaire being expireanced like he was would most probably pick up on that vibe from her. As he mentioned for her to go with him the gave a look to Kern as if she was asking him if it was okay she seen his nod Maya then looked back to the old man and gave a nod, Maya didn't seen interested in a hot shower or new cloths even if she really needed it, but her mood perked up when he mentioned a meal as that had got her interest as she was rather hungry Maya nodded again as she looked up at the old man and then to his walking stick and moved a finger to touch it then moved back, its smelt like blood was on that thing and something was off about that walking thing, Maya moved away from it and stopped touching it as she didn't want to linger there if she wasn't meant to.
As she horrible screaming filled her ears she moved her hands to cover her ears as she then looked at Kern forcing his hand into the guys chest, she watched it all and only seemed bothered by the loudness of the screaming, there was nothing that could have been done for that guy as he was to far gone to save but did Kern have to do it in a way that was so loud and painful, all this going on around her didn't seem to affect her in a way normal people would be, but then again if she was Kerns daughter she would have most probably witnessed things more horrific then that. Some may wonder on the state of the mind of someone that looked young having to put up with that and the fact Kern may have neglected her needs, he had beed at the recruits base for days maybe weeks without even thinking about checking on Maya in that time, it was clear that Kern had some feelings for the girl but lacked in the knowledge to care for someone like that

Freya raised an eye brow at his lost soul comment as she wasn’t aware he wasn’t human. Though she figured he had a lot of baggage on his shoulder’s if he was murder random people to get at the feelings he seemed to lack. She walks off for a moment for clean supplies, a few moments later she returned with big thick black trash bags for the bodies and a mop with a bucket of soapy water in it. She handed the bags to Kern as she figured he could break up the bodies easily, “Who were these people?” She wasn’t judging just wondering if he had a point to his crazy killing moments that’s all, “Did they do something?” She asks as if they maybe be murders or bad people, though that was lowering the bar a bit as her and Kern weren’t nice people neither if that was the case but someone had to clean up the streets it might as well be them if they need to get those ruthless feelings out of their systems. She took the mop and started mopping up all the blood.

Voltaire walked with the girl in silence for a bit since it wasn’t like she was going to answer him anyways. He came to a shower area as he hands her a bar of dove soap, a purple fluffy towel as well as cleaning stuff for her hair, “Have a nice long warm shower you look like you need it child.” He said to her as he gently pushed her into the room as he wasn’t going to follow her inside, “I’ll find you some clothes,” he walked off sometime as he went to talk with Astrid who was still shaken up and get her to give him some of her clothes for Maya to change into. He returned with a knee high yellow dress that had a cute bow at the back and a white flower pattern over it, as well as a change of underwear which was white and he couldn’t do match about a bra for her at this point because it was doubtful one of the girls here was the same cup size to boot. He placed the clothes on a bench inside the shower area for her and then walked off giving her some space but he wasn’t far away if she need to talk to him.

Kern looked at Freya as she wondered off as he then got to work pulling some of the body's off the spikes as he smiled a little at them, all life less and limp, anyone that had been watching from the beginning would see him asking what it felt like, he asked them what the pain felt like and what it was like to die, over and over he asked them all the same thing as he watched the life drain from there eyes. Non of them gave him a answer he was satisfied with but so he seemed to hurt them more.
Kern glanced at Freya as she walked back to and gave him the bags, he took them, he put some of limbs that where hanging around the place in one
"No one" Kern said Freya asked him who they where and then looked at the body of the man he had just finished off "they didn't even die well, pleaded and begging" Kern said in spite as he seem annoyed that they acted like pathetic welps not facing death like a true warier should.
"They where annoying" Kern said as he gave her the reason on why he had killed them well kind of but not really as he still didn't say what they'd done to be so annoying to him.

Maya followed Voltaire as he walked with her to for a little ways to the shower block, she walked a little slower then him letting him lead the way as she stopped looked around a little then ran a little to catch up as she was talking in the sites and the smells of this placed, kind of like a puppy following its owner threw a new area, never letting him get to far ahead but still talking every thing in.
As they got there she popped her head in to see the large room with a few showers all in a row, she pulled her head out and looked up at Voltaire as he handed her the dove soap, she sniffed it, nope it wasn't food, this must be the stuff she rubs on her body in the water. Maya nodded to him and then gave him a smile as she went onto the shower room. She undressed and then dumped her dirty cloths off to the side as she moved her and to the tapes, Turing them on, the piles rattles a little as she jumped back until the water came threw and she then got under it, all the dirt and grime came off of her as she then got the shops and started to clean her self in the nice warm soapy water as she wissled, it kind of sounded like a bird singing and she scrubbed the weeks of dirt off her skin and in her hair to get fully clean took her fifteen minutes or so if scrubbing and washing but she looked clean.
She got out and grabbed the fluffy towel as she started to dry herself off, maya looked heaps better now and looked more like a girl, her hair was still a little scruffy looking as it just needed a cut to get some of the matted knots out, but at least she was clean now, Maya popped her head to look at the cloths as she looked happy as she seen what was left, she put on the knee high yellow dress that had a cute bow at the back and a white flower pattern over it, as well as a change of underwear which was white, this was the first time she had ever worn a dress, she had seen the pretty things but Kern always dressed her in boyish cloths, she really didn't need a bra as there was not much fat on her anyway so it really want not needed. Maya still have the vile of antidote around her neck that she tucked into the dress.

Freya finished cleaning up the blood as she ringed out the mop in the bucket. She wondered what these people had done to annoy him that badly, although he did seem to have a short temper. She took the bucket away deposing on the contains as she returned to grab the body Ken as filled, “Where are we going to dump the bodies?” She asked him, not shore if he had a place in mind or just wanted to burn them.

Voltaire cracked a smile as he saw her walking out and dancing around in her new dress. The girl reminds him a little of his Soraka, as Soraka was like a daughter to him and his most loyal recruit. When he’d find Soraka as a little girl around the age of seven she’d been roaming the streets in dirty clothes and seemed to act more like a wolf then a human, “Follow me child,” he lead her to a storage room that was full of all sorts of food, “Take your pick,” he walked inside with her and turned on the light.

Maya didn't notice that he was there as she spun around but stopped when he spoke to her, question him as he said follow him as he didn't give her any reason to think that he was going to do anything to her as so fare he was nice, her guard was still up but, she had only just met this man and was a little wirey human as they could be horrible some times and she had stuff like that happen to her when she first got lost in this world
As Voltaire told her she could have what ever she wanted she looked at him then her face lit up as he turned on the light, as she couldn't help but do a little bum wiggle like if she was going to pounce on pray, she rushed over to thing and seemed to be smelling the air as she got the sent of something she loved so much she ran over to where the fruit was as she then started to look threw it kind of sniffing as she went she reached in and pulled out a mango, it was hidden under lots of other fruit and was the only one there as well as to a human the room would smell like other things, Maya could pretty much sniff a mango out almost anywhere as she loved that sweet little fleshy fruit, Voltaire would probably figure out she had a animal like sence of smell if he took the time to hide some Mangos around the place. she was just going to bite into it, she had no clue that you where meant to cut it a certain way to get the fruit out.

Kern broke the bodys down into smaller bits as he then stuffed some one into the bag, before he did it took out the eyes of anybody that had blue eye and kept them to the side as he then turned to look at Freya as she asked if he knew where they where going to put them. "I have a idea" he had found a mulching mucheine a wile back and just would dump the body's in there, to be chopped up and put into garden mix, no one had found out yet and he had been doing it for months.

Voltaire walked over to a crate as he sat down on it and watched her like a little kid in a candy shop. He noticed she was acting animalistic, as he’d seen it before in Soraka and Soraka till acted like that at times, not surprising since she was mostly raised by a spirit wolf and her human family had treated her like a piece of trash to be thrown away. Drake was her loyal protector.

Drake sat down in the snow looking up at the night sky thinking to himself. All he wanted to do was to break free and run free with no ties holding him back. It wasn't not meant to be this way, he wasn't meant to be bound to someone so young, to her.

He could still hear her mother's screams playing in the back of his mind. The day everything had changed, the day he'd first seen her. Soraka's mother was in labour with doctors swarming around her.

"Arrrr,"

She screamed out in pain as she crushed Soraka's fathers hand in hers. He watched from the shadows, he hadn't been bound to Dawn for long she hadn't even accepted him at all as being real. Being partnered with Dawn's father for many years he'd see her grow-up but she'd only thought of him as a story her father told her before bedtime.

He had tried to come to her but she passed him off as a strange nightmare. If anything all he did was make her think she was losing it over the loss of her father to cancer. He didn't know why he had bothered to come to the hospital if she was just going to ignore him for the next eighty years or so, what was most likely left of her human lifespan.

Though still something had drawn him here to this place and this time. Suddenly there was panic in the room, Dawn was bleeding out he could feel his tie to her weakening.

"Were going to lose them both if she doesn't push now," One of the nurse's softly said so that Dawn and her husband couldn't hear.

"What are you waiting for?!" Samuel shouted at the doctors and nurse in a panic for his beloved wife. As she looked at him with tears in her eyes as she was focused on saving her daughters or sons life inside her.

"You're going to have push."

The doctor told her as she put in all her effect trying to push the baby out. After a lot of effect, the nurse's helped her by pulling the baby out the rest of the way. She held the baby in her hands but it was very cold and hadn't make a sound.

"Can I hold..." Dawn plead as she felt so weak from the blood loss.

"It's a girl but she's not showing any signs of life. I'm sorry."

The nurse wrapped the still born baby in a little pink blanket and brought her over placing her in Dawn's arms. Samuel ignored the child as he held his wife in his arms, he couldn't believe this was happening to them and all because of that thing.

"My little Soraka,"

She went limp in his arms, Drake didn't understand what this all meant he wasn't bound to anyone and then he felt a strange pull to the dead child as if it called at to him. He followed the nurses that picked up the baby and put it aside in a small cot. He stood up on two legs leaning his front paws on the edge of the small cot staring down at the little baby.

He leant his head down and nudged her with his nose. Leaping into the cot he lands down next to the cold little body and wrapped himself around her. His body was formed from warm flames and only the one he was bound to could see him, innless he chooses to show himself to others. He could feel his bond growing stronger towards her and it was fueling his power, as her little body heated up in his embrace.

"WAaaaa..."

Soraka cried as life went into her, she glared up a flame wolf's big head looking down over her and reached out to touch his face. Drake almost flinched backwards he'd never be this close to a human baby before and didn't know what to make of it. He leant forward pressing his noses against her open hand.

He couldn't understand the noises that came out of her little mouth but she seemed to know he wasn't there to hurt her. The nurses rushed over to the cot in shock. She couldn't believe the child had made it through all on its own. She reached into the cot to pick up the baby, Drake's lip curled back as he growled at her, the nurse's jumped at the strange noises that had seem to come from nowhere.

"It's a miracle your little child is a fighter for shore,"

Samuel glanced up at the cot seeing Soraka's arms waving around as if she was patting something that what not there. He couldn't bear to look at the thing that had taken his wife from him.

Several hours had pasted, Samuel hadn't even come to see Soraka in the baby room. She couldn't sit up and just stared at the mobile spinning above her head. She didn't cry much, not with Drake by her side watching over her. Drake turned his head to see Samuel and a nurse talking to each other and Sam was signing some papers. The nurse come into the baby room and picked up Soraka, this time Drake let it slide they did seem to be helping her. The nurses placed her in a small carrier cot and place a little pink blanket around her. She had the cot over the Samuel, he took it in hand but he didn't seem happy about it.

"We've made up a small starter pack for you. Nappies, formula, bottles and a blanket."

"Right,"

Sam said so coldly as he took the basket in his other hand, all he could think about was burying his wife then looking after this mistake. He didn't have time for all this bullshit. He left the hospital in a huff, reaching his car he opens the door to back sit and throw in the gift basket. He dumped the cot next to it not taking the time to strap it down to sit and slammed the door shout as he hops into the driver's seat.

Drake appeared next to the baby’s cot as if out of thin air, he was a spirit wolf able to move more freely then most solid creature's. Though he could still allow other people to touch him as the child had and other creatures that walked the same plain as he could freely touch or harm him at their own will.

He leant up against the cot trying to keep it stable as Samuel speed into traffic as if he was trying to end his life and the child's. Soraka played with Drake's tail as he waved it across her carrier, sparks of fire rained down off his tail on to child's face and blanket. The little one's skin wasn't burnt at all, her body surged with the fire powers shared though her bound with the spirit wolf. Though the same couldn't be said for her pink blanket that now had scorch marks all over it.

The car pulled up outside a daycare. Samuel got out of the car and left the little baby all alone. Well if he hadn't been for that fact that he was their she really would be all alone. He wasn't worried about her though, she couldn't over heat over something like this not with his powers inside her.

"WAaa..."

Soraka begin crying, it had been an hour since her father had left her in the car. Drake waved his tail at her again but she continued to cry her eyes out. He didn't know what this little human wanted from him. He bites his lip as he thought she might need changing. He had never need to change a human before. He cringed at the thought as he leant down and sniffed her. He was so relieved that hadn't been the case, dodged a bullet there he thought to himself.

He pushed the cot with his paws rocking it gently but nothing was stopping the noise. He turns around quickly getting right in her face and growled loudly at her as he was very annoyed with all this. She broke out into a louder scream, he lowered his head and placed his paws over his ears.

"What do you want?!"

Drake said in his deep demonic growl of a voice, it was just the sound of his normal voice but it did sound very dark and brutal to anyone who hadn't hear it before. Soraka almost wet herself over the sound of it and begin sucking on her hand as if she was trying to eat it but she had no teeth.

"You're hungry...what do human babies eat?"

Drake turned his head to see Samuel and his son Marcus getting into the front seats of the car. Three year old Marcus looked into the back of the car at the crying baby and held his hands over his ears. Drake disappeared again he had to found something for the little one to eat it.

He now roamed the streets, he poked his head into a dustbin sorting throw the rubbish with his nose. He couldn't be seen himself but rubbish flying out of the bin could be but on lookers would probably just think a pesky fox was kicking trash out of the bin. The closest items to food he found were haft an eaten burger, a rotten apple and day old milk.

He had to find something more fresh for her. He pulled his head out of the trash and walked down the sidewalk. He saw a bird washing its feathers in a small puddle, he crunched down lower curling on his belly towards the animal not making a single sound and then he pounced on it hard with his front paws. He bites down on the bird’s neck and it went limp in his jaws.

He kept the bird low as he slowly walked through the streets so it wouldn't look like the dead animal was floating. He couldn't disappear with the bird so he would have to walk all the way back to Dawn's house hoping they would turn up there sooner or later. A small trail of blood dipped from the bird’s neck as he dashed though back ally's that had no one in them to see anything odd.

He arrived at the house to see the car in the drive way and the door to the house still open. He poked his head in and didn't see anyone around so he dashed to the baby's room that Dawn had been setting up. He run to the carrier cot but it was empty he sniffed it and then looked around the room. There was a changing table, a set of draws with a few clothes inside, blue walls with white fluffy cloud painted over it, and a dark blue carpet.

He sniffed around the room and then found the little baby laying down in the bigger cot that had a high fence around it. It looked like a cage for little humans. He sat facing the cot looking in at her with the bird still hanging out of his mouth. She give him the cutest smile when she rolled over and saw it was him. He leapt over the fence landing inside the cot he laid the bird down near her.

He could see this was going to be a problem to she had no human teeth to rip flesh off the bird with. He ripped off some of the breast making shore to avoid the sharp bones and chewed up the meat in his mouth. A wolf pup would have its mother's milk not meat right away, though he wasn't in the business of making milk.

He placed a paw under her head rising her up a little so she wouldn't choke on the food as he mouthed small bits of meat into her mouth. She gummed the roar meat to death in her mouth and tasted the animals blood in her lips. Drake let out a sigh of reflex as he watched her swallow the food.

He laid down next to her keeping her toasty warm. He was in deep now and would watch out for her all her life. No matter what it took he would protect her.

...Melting the snow with his paws Drake smiled at how far they'd come together but they still had a long road to travel together. Little four year Soraka leant against him hugging his leg.

Voltaire looked to Maya, “Maya, did you learn to speak?” he asks as it was clear she wasn’t mute as she made sounds. Though weren’t common human sound or words but she still able to make them.

Freya nodded as she held one bag over her shoulder and dragged a second one along the ground, “What are the blue eyes for?” She was carious as she followed him, “Lead the way,” She would follow him to the locate and assist him as best she could.

Maya's had used her fingers to brake the skin of the fruit as she bit into it, seeming happy that she got to eat it. Her head shot up as Voltaire said her name, as she listened to what he said and shock her head as she finished what was in her mouth as she looked like she then tried to remember something "Ker" Maya seemed like she was trying to talk to him, but it sounded more like animals growl and that was the best she could muster, Maya then made a soft growing sound at the back of her throats as was frustrated that she couldn't speak, she had tried many times only getting sounds out not full words or sentence.
Most the time she didn't need words to communicate with Kern as she had a hole range of sounds to let him know what she wanted or was feeling but human's never took it that well so she learnt to read and as well as some sign language to get across to them what she wants. But for some reason she kind of forgot that she was not meant to show him that as he seemed so much like Kern but in another sense he wasn't.
Maya looked at Voltaire sitting on the crate and wondered if he to was hungry, she made a short whistle and pop sound as she thinking it was kind of like a Dolphin makes as she then went off and grabbed a box filling it with all kinds of fresh foods, fruit, nuts some bags of seeds as well as some crisps salad veggies, she move past a section with breads as she sniffed them she then grabbed four little Pumpkin Bread Rolls and placed then in the box as she wondered back to Voltaire and then paced at his feet as if she was offering it to him she then grabbed a pumpkin bread roll so she has a Mango in one hand and a pumpkin bread roll in the other as she then sat down on the floor next to him but just so she was just touching him with her shoulder and her part of her crossed leg, the floor was pretty clean as this room was kept clean so the food didn't get contaminated.
Maya was content sitting there and eating some mango and pumpkin bread roll, she was also relaxed as she then started to lightly pur wile she ate, it didn't mean she trusted him fully she was just warming up to him a little. Maya was clearly a affectionate and caring girl, not that she got much back from Kern but she knew he was trying his best, and despite the fact that Kern was the one to mostly rase her she wasn't a cold heartless killer like he seemed to be, she could be at times but only if she was backed into a corner with no way out. She didn't act like a normal person when she didn't have to, she mostly asked like this towards Kern when it was just them. Something about Voltaire reminded her of him so she forgot to act like a human and was just being herself.
Most people would most probably say that the reason she can't speak would most probably be from mental trauma at a young age, but if a doctor did full depth scans they would find the area that people make there sounds to speak was different and that is most probably the reason she was unable to speak human languages.

Kern moved to grab two of the bags as he then moved to carry them over his shoulder "just wanted them" Kern said replying to her question on why he was keeping the blue eyeball, there was not really any reason to why he did the things he did just that he felt like he needed to, he was very old about eight hundred or so give or take a century and he once was human so such a long life hasn't gone well for his mental state as they are not made to live so long. Kern led the was as he walked out of the mini base, not far just around the corner to a large old shed still on the some propaty as he then walked in, there was all types of machines in there but he locked onto one towards the back, it was used to chop, shred and polvarise organic matter to make into compost for the plants and gardens on the grounds

Freya looked around the abandoned working shed wondering why all the machine where still here as it seemed like no one had been here in a very long time. Well beside for the blood on some of the machines as she figured Kern had used this place before as he seemed to know it so well, “Kern, I know there has to be a better reason why you are doing this.” She talking about the murders, she walked over to the shredder as she throws in the two bags she had as she block his path to the machine and place her finger in his chest, “So what is it? What are you hiding?” She was seeking answers as she would to know who he really was and why he’d even showed up to the recruitment.

Voltaire watched as the girl went around the storage room sniffing everything and acting like an animal, “Were you raised by animal’s child?” he was honestly wondering considering the way so acted around people. He looked down at the pumpkin bun as he lent down taking one as he was trying to earn her trust, “Pumpkin bun,” he said to her seeing if she would try to repeat him, “Pump-kin-bu-n,” he brought down the word for her as he was trying to teach her to speak English. He bit into the soft pumpkin bun as it was nice and fresh. He looked down her comfortably sitting beside him as she started purring, it was like she had the whole animal kingdom in there and few non earth creature’s he didn’t recognize, “We should find somewhere for you to live so you don’t have to sleep on the streets anymore.” He said to her trying to explain to her that he was going to help her and not just for the sake of controlling Kern, though that was a huge factor at the moment.

Kern stopped in his tracks as Freya threw the bags down in front on him as he then turned to look at her as she walked over and put her hand on his chest as she got close and questioned him on why he was doing this all. He needed to kill, it was the only way to get rid of all the anger he felt inside, he didn't remember why he was so angry and what had even happened to him to make him this way as his mind blocked it all out "anger" Kern said as he tried to answer her question on why he killed like he did "frustration, sorrow" he added as he looked at her as he then dropped the bags he was holding "killing, mangeling, tormenting" Kern said with a little to much enthusiasm to the horrific things he was describing "the only way I can get rid of them" Kern said as he looked at Freya then moved to pick up the bags. Kern was trying his best to explain it to her, he needed to get rid of them feeling and memories, if he didn't he would go mad and nothing would be able to stop him, but he could get very carried away at the some time and almost lose it that way. If Freya wanted to stop him picking up the bags and moving away she would be able to.

When Voltaire asked if she was raised by animals she tiled her head as she was raised by Kern, was Kern a animal? She did spend a little time shifted into a wolf and her amphibious lizard from so she kept some of her characteristics and behaviour from them "Ker" Maya tried to say Kern's name again this time sounding more like what she was trying to say as she really tried hard to say he razed her, and he himself didn't have good people skills.

Maya watched at Voltaire picked up the pumpkin bun and then said it to her, she picked up that he was telling her it's name as he did and then broke the sounds up for her she watched his mouth carefully "umkkkkjgn" Maya tried but didn't really make much of any sound, she consentrated a bit harder and tried again "um-ki-bu" this one sounded a lot more like a word "um-ki-bu" Maya repeated as she then looked at the bun in his hand, the p and n sounds where hard for her to get out but she showed a willingness to try and learn.

As Voltaire spoke again to her she listened to him but seemed frustrated with the lack of ability to communicate with him, she moved her eyes to look around and spotted a note pad and a pen, it must have been to leave a message on what they where getting low on or to make requests or a shopping list with, whatever it was used for she was happy that it was there, Maya got up and moved over to the pad almost running to it as she picked it and the pen up from where it was and walked over to Voltaire as she started to write on the pad 'with Kern?' Maya flipped the pad to show Voltaire, it was her asking why she couldn't live with Kern. The base mini was probably not the best place for her to be right now as she wasn't a recruit and would need more care then she would get from living here as they would be way too busy to look after her in the way she clearly needed.

Freya took in to consideration what he was explaining to her, ‘So you do have feeling in there,’ She thought to herself as he seemed to have a really hard time expressing any sort of emotions. As he picked up the bags she grabbed his wrist with her hand, “I don’t know what happened to you but it must of be something very horrible.” She looked up at him as he pretty tall as she lent up on her tippy toes and touched her lips to his. She kissed him with a fiery passion, she was probably not going to get any reaction out of him but if he can feel angry and pain… why couldn’t he feel something else. She wondered if he could get his fixes though a different way.

Voltaire smiled as he hears her trying to learn the words as he then saw her dash over to the note pad and pen as if it was her life line to speaking to people. He was ok with that but he would be happier if he could teach her some words to speak, “With Kern, he didn’t want you to live here it’s not all that safe for you.” He pointed out to her, as he didn’t really have an issue with her staying here with the recruits but he figured Kern wouldn’t be happy about her being in danger. He thought about it for a moment as he looked down at her, “Well you could have your own home that Kern could come visits you at whenever he wanted to, innless you can make Kern let you live here?” He couldn’t take her back to the base as she may reveal who he was to the recruits undercover there, who didn’t want to recruits to know that he was the leader of that base and they wouldn’t know because he had made himself look different, but this girl may blow his cover which he couldn’t have in till the mission was over.

Kern looked at Freya as she grabbed his wrist he had to fightback the feeling rip her arm out of her socket as it was like one of his first reactions that he would have but he stopped him self as then seemed a little shocked as she kissed him, she did it was a lot of passion, he was not quite there but not hurting her was a good start for him. Kern moved his hand to her arm as her rubbed his hand up and down her arm and then kissed her back, he tried to show affection, her respected her ability and did feel a pull towards her "I don't remember" Kern said as she said what ever happened to him must have been pretty bad and horrible, he wasn't shore he wanted to remember what it was, Kern moved to take his hand off of her arm as he then grabbed the bags.

Maya noticed that Voltaire seemed to like it better when she tried to talk, she was quick to adapt and could pick up things from peoples body language, so if he was paysent with her she would try to, "Mie..." Maya pointed to herself as to tell him she that is what she called herself "Mie...talk...Ker" Maya's words kind of had animalish sound to them as she then wrote 'I will talk to Kern' just in case he didn't realise what she was trying to say "wih.... Ker" Maya said as she then wrote 'I want to live with" Maya then looked like she was thinking a little, she couldn't think of how to say this so she wrote it down 'I need to keep a eye on him' Maya looked at Voltaire as she then sat down as his feet like she had been before.

Dianna made her way into the the mini base with Kevin and Styxx, they had left the underground base at different times taking different routs but met up just a few blocks away from the mini base. Di was wearing a white button up T shirt with a pink singerlt under it as the she top three buttons where undone and her boobs where visible and a black skirt just past her knees and black flat slip on shoes. Dianna moved to stand in the middle and put one arm to go around Styxx and Kevin's shoulder as she smiled at them "come on..." Dianna said happily as she then moved her hand to there's as they got closer to the door, she wanted to see the other again, she had been worried about them, she thought they may need medical help, the only one she was not to eger to see was Stone, after what he done to her last time, she still hasn't told anyone about that fully yet. She pulled them into the base as she then walked down the hall "hello?" She said loudly as it was pretty quiet still. Dianna stopped when she seen some of the blood that hadn't been cleaned up as she became really worried as she thought Kern may had killed them or at least some of them "hello? Any body here?" She asked as she looked around her she wanted to see if anyone was hurt.
